The Ashtanga Mysore Yoga Shala

At the ashtanga vinyasa yoga shala in mysore we teach the  style of Yoga which involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. 
This powerful and vigorous practice realigns the body, cultivates a feeling of inner peace, and is at its essence a meditation in motion. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.



Schedule for Yoga Teacher Training

Monday through Friday
6.30 am to 8.00 am  -  Pranayama Practice
8.00 am to 10.00 am - Asana Practice
10.00am to 11.00 am  - Breakfast Break
11.00am to 12.30pm  - Asana Methodology
12.30pm to 3.00 pm - Lunch Break
3.00 pm to 4.00pm - Pranayama Theory
4.30pm to 5.30 pm -Yoga Philosophy
6.00pm to 6.30 pm - Meditation

Saturdays: Asana Practice only and sundays holiday
